Then how does it work?
We will provide a device also known as analogue telephone adapter (ATA), which will connect directly to the modem/router provided by Indian local Internet Service Provider. And the device will connect to the phone instrument. The phone instrument connected to this device can now be used to make and receive calls. The ATA has an additional port for Internet to be connected to computer (if you have one). |

How will I be able to call my parents ?
Every connection/device will be assigned a virtual US number of the area code of your choice (subject to availability). When you call at this number, this will ring at your home in India on the instrument that is connected to the device. |

Sounds great but what if there is a problem with the device or the Internet? My parents are not tech savvy ?
Our customer care agents are available 24/7 even on Diwali or New Year day when you may need the service most. They will first attempt to resolve the problem over the phone using remote tools. If unsuccessful, they will schedule a visit by one of our courteous, qualified technicians. |

Will my parents be billed for the service as well or for any charges?
Your parents will not be charged for anything including visits to your home or replacement of any defective devices provided by World Phone. |

How will I be billed ?
The payment mechanism that you have chosen on sign up will be billed for the Plan amount every month. There will be no other surprise charges. |

How do I sign up ?
- Choose a plan and click on SUBSCRIBE button.
- Enter the US contact information and click SUBMIT.
- Enter the contact information in India where service is to be installed and click SUBMIT.
- Your plan details will be displayed with terms and conditions.
- Read these terms and conditions carefully and click on ‘I accept’.
- You will be directed to our secure payment gateway where you will provide your payment details.
- You will get a Customer Registration Form to print or download. You or your relative in India must sign this form and mail to us. You may also fax the form to us along with proof of id to +1-212-202 3742 or +91-11-2690 2090. We will also contact your address in India to facilitate the delivery of the form. This is a security requirement from the Government of India and all legal, licensed service providers in India are mandated to do it.
- Our customer care agents will call you to confirm the details of the order and activate the account. Your billing will begin only when your account is activated.
- Our team will install the World Phone device at your relative’s premises offsite or onsite.
